Welcome
The Sixth Form (Years 12 - 13)
St Mark’s offers students the opportunity to continue their studies beyond the age of 16 in a school-based, Catholic environment.
An extensive range of AS Level courses is provided to maximise student choice; 20 AS Level courses are offered. A Level courses are taken in Year 13 in all major subjects. Cambridge Technical courses are offered in Business and Health and Social Care.
A well established programme of Vocational Education complements the A/Level courses. Cambridge Technical Certificate is offered in Business.
Progression to university and other Higher Education colleges is encouraged with most A Level students achieving this with the help and support of the teaching staff and, in particular, the Head of Sixth Form. Pastoral guidance is given a high priority with students having ready access to personal tutors.
